Effective Collaborator

Being an effective collaborator is another integral facet of becoming a master teacher. To me, an effective collaborator means appreciating the worth of working and cooperating with colleagues in the education profession. In my days at Lafayette High School, I feel like I have learned just as much information from my colleagues, as I have taught my students about social studies. I worked with other teachers in lesson creation, and I have grown tremendously in my teaching skills from listening to and internalizing their wisdom. In addition, I have collaborated with other valuable members of the school community such as parents and families, the school counselors, special education faculty, administration, and especially the librarians.
